What is Scuba Diving?

Did you ever ask the question “What is SCUBA diving” We will try to answer this question in this post for you? Did you know that scuba diving is one of the fastest-growing extreme sports in the world today? Every year, millions of people go scuba diving, whether for a course, an introductory dive, or because they already have their diving license.

What is Scuba Diving – The Attraction?

Scuba diving is mainly done for the attraction of the unattainable undersea world. It is one area of nature that mankind has not been able to fully control, and we simply are not able to breathe underwater. Hence, scuba diving gives us an opportunity to be in that underwater world, even if it is just for a limited amount of time.

Of course, the underwater world is beautiful as well, with many people opting for scuba diving in Asia or scuba diving in the Red Sea or the Great Barrier Reef, said to be some of the world’s best scuba diving locations. The different colors and marine wildlife are so impressive in all these locations that people find themselves returning over and over again.

What is Scuba Diving – Some Interesting Dives

If you do enjoy scuba diving, there are a couple of things you can do to make it even more interesting. There are many artificial reefs, for example. These artificial reeds have been created either to restore destroyed coral or as a scientific experiment to see how coral grows and how it attracts other marine life. There are many wrecks, for example, that have been purposely sunken to create artificial reefs.

1. It’s easier than you think. Scuba diving is not an extreme sport. The only skill you need is to be comfortable in the water. When you learn, an instructor is in the water to explain everything you need to know.

2. The chance to dive with marine creatures. Encounter sea turtles, one of the earth’s oldest creatures; gentle whale sharks, the world’s biggest fish; and whales, the magical creatures of the deep. You will be changed forever by these remarkable experiences.

3. The chance to see a coral reef. Corals are the mind-blowing, living backbone of a reef and host a number of other creatures, like beautiful tropical fish, exotic eels, and tiny critters.

4. To become an underwater explorer. The ocean covers 71 percent of the earth’s surface and yet is one of the planet’s last undiscovered frontiers. Expand your horizon to discover the unknown.

5. To feel the peace, weightlessness, and freedom of breathing underwater — no cell phone, no deadlines, no bosses. Just you and the ocean.

Ocean-Inspired Resin Diorama a Tranquil Blue Glow When Glowing

One of the most exciting aspects of epoxy resin art is its ability to keep objects suspended inside of the transparent material. We can freeze-dried flowers and models in the substance or even their own sculptures. We take this one step further by designing naturalistic aquatic scenes inside of resin and a mini 3D landscape diorama.

Each one of these decorative pieces features miniature figurines made out of plastic. We use a tool to carefully render minute details such as fish and scuba gear before painting them with a fine brush. He then places them inside the cube of resin before it is solidified.

This combination of 3D landscape and resin adds texture to the diorama so when it is turned on in a dark room, the blue-tinted resin resembles a deep ocean. Captured an ocean landscape.
